By the edge of the Old Town is the Bath District, Abanotubani.
The façade of this hammam bath house, the Oberliani speaks of a Persian influence and acts as another reminder that the Caucusus region has been the traded plaything of the Empires of others.
Surrounding it are many more in the Turkish design, taking advantage of the hot springs that bubble up here.
