The communists loved a good power station.
They loved them so much that they always painted their smoke stacks bright white and red so they really clash with the horizon.
They loved them so much they also sited them all really really close to where people lived. In Sofia there seems to be one for every neighbourhood.
Do you think the World has enough modern art for them all to be converted into galleries like Tate Modern has been?
