“The Swedes do it barefoot” we were told.
“Shoes off!”
And so we climbed the rock overlooking Skärhamn in our bare feet like real Swedes.
Like true Brits we didn’t believe someone wouldn’t steal our shoes and in a very un-Swedish way I kept mine on me at all times!
